This project was constructed by our sister company Swederski Concrete & Paving, Inc based out of Charlotte, NC. It consisted of 52,552 square feet of 4-1/2”, 5”, and 6” paving. With daily temperatures exceeding 100 degrees, concrete was placed at night. The laser screed’s 3-D technology allowed us to provide varying thickness with precision accuracy. This allowed the owner to design the pavement thicknesses according to the different traffic loads expected on the parking lot. This also assisted concrete to be competitive with asphalt in the initial cost.
