Foremen

Established local contractor, located in Spring Grove, IL, has openings for foremen.  Foremen must be self motivated with a high standard for quality and workmanship, dependable and willing to work OT.  Foremen are required to conduct themselves in a professional and respected manner with a high level of communication skills.  This person should be experienced in blueprint reading, construction math, and report writing.  A Foremen that possesses the ACI Finisher/Tech Certification or other concrete related education and training are encouraged to apply.  As a part of our “Commitment to Safety”, we require all prospective employees to have a valid driver’s license, with a clean, responsible driving record.  A Commercial drivers license is considered a plus.  Swederski Concrete Construction Inc. is proud to be in compliance with the United States Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act, and with the Department of Transportation Regulations for alcohol and substance abuse.  It is for the safety of all our employees that we have adopted a drug-free workplace policy and procedure.   Swederski Concrete Construction Inc. is a nationally recognized leader in the industry.  Most jobsites are located in southern WI and northern IL.  Candidates applying for a foremen position must possess good communication skills and be experienced in concrete finishing and/or concrete carpentry $30 - $35/hour, The 401K retirement and profit sharing, plan is offered to all employees who meet the requirements as set forth in the plan.  Group health and dental insurance, including eligible dependent coverage, is available after 90 consecutive days of full time employment.  Eligible employees pay 25% of the premium and SCCI pays 75% of the premium.  Group Term life insurance coverage for the employee and any eligible dependents is provided to covered employees at no cost to the employee.  The SCCI Employee Assistance Program provides assessment professionals at no cost to the employees and their families.  Swederski Concrete Construction Inc. offers year-round employment for tradesmen who possess the right skills.
